Outreach

Our Outreach Mission is to extend our culture and values of love and compassion outside the walls of our church for the betterment of our community. Our strategy is to encourage the young, the elderly, and those in need of God’s love and understanding.

Southmountain Children & Family Services

St. Paul’s is delighted and honored to support Southmountain Children & Family Services and all of its local efforts.

A big thanks to all who recently contributed goodies, goods and basket assembling for the Southmountain Children’s Home residents during the December 8th Christmas Parade and tour of the homes.

Burke United Christian Ministries (BUCM)

SOUP KITCHEN - The St Paul’s Soup Kitchen Team has volunteered in the past at the BUMC Soup Kitchen on the 5th Thursdays of the year.
As of April 2020 the Soup Kitchen Teams will NO LONGER BE NEEDED AT BUCM to prep meals and serve clients.  We will continue to use our in house “catering team’ to prepare all of the needed meals for the foreseeable future.  The staff, along with a few Board Members, will plate and hand out both the lunch and dinner meals to our needy and homeless population.

THE MEETING PLACE MISSION

Since 2004, the Meeting Place Mission has been serving the homeless, providing emergency shelter and transitioning individuals and families in permanent housing and safety in Burke County.

The Meeting Place is not a traditional homeless shelter so much as a series of programs designed to give people the best opportunity to end their homelessness and live independently.
