We have a Brunch each Sunday following the 9 am Service. All are welcome to join us after the service for fellowship and great food before you head out for the rest of your Sunday.  

 

The Episcopal Church Women - ECW

 

The ECW meets on the Second Sunday of every month (except July and December) at 10:30 AM (following coffee hour).  Every woman who attends church at St. Paul’s is welcome to join ECW.

The Episcopal church women invite all persons age 55 and older in the Lake James community, as well as their caregivers (if applicable), to Fitzgerald Hall. The participants are given a hot lunch, entertainment, and spiritual devotion.

Burke United Christian Ministries (BUCM) Soup Kitchen:

 

The St Paul’s Soup Kitchen Team volunteers at the BUMC Soup Kitchen on the 5th Thursdays of the year.  Those who are interested in becoming community volunteers need to fill out an application and participate in a short training session.

The following Thursday dates have been requested by Burke United Christian Ministries (BUCM) to assist with the Soup Kitchen duties:

Next 2020 Dates: Jan. 30, April 30, July 30, Oct. 29, Dec. 31st

BURKE HOSPICE: 

In support of Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Biff Bauer has agreed to serve as the Ambassador for our church. Biff will be a great asset in serving our Faith Family. Please call Biff at 584-9722 if you or your family can benefit from the services provided by Burke Hospice, including Palliative and Bereavement services.

 

COMMUNITY GARDEN: Workdays are scheduled the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 10 am-Noon.

 

YOGA:

Every Monday at 5 pm in the Parish Hall.   All Levels are welcome.  No Experience is necessary

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many, many thanks to all who were able to help out at the BUCM Soup Kitchen.

What a SUPER TEAM!  

 

The morning Team did a wonderful job 'Preparing and Cooking' a delicious pork chop, white potatoes, and mixed veg hot meal.  And the

'Serving and Clean-Up' Team did an outstanding job serving up meals to the needy and the homeless.      

It is TRULY volunteers like all of you, who continue to help and support BUCM, by offering folks nutritious meals at the Soup Kitchen, that makes our Ministry the success it is here Burke County.
